Leading and managing remote Teams

Course Objectives

Are you facing new and challenging realities working with Your Team? Is remote team working tiring and with different challenges and obstacles? Do you struggle to manage and lead your time? Do you or your Team feel overwhelmed with the remote work?
Leaders and Managers need to make sure that their team keeps motivation upbeat and spirits high. It is a challenge to leading spirited and motivated Teams remotely. Managers need to learn new and different ways to motivate, encourage and maintain the happiness. They need to learn how to manage productivity through remote management, and to ensure efficient productivity and performance. Managing to acquire results needs to be done with new remote techniques.

Session 1: Motivating my Team and Staff

In our current times of home office and online work, Leaders and Managers need to make sure that their team keeps motivation upbeat and spirits high. It is a challenge to leading spirited and motivated Teams remotely. Leaders need to learn new and different ways to motivate, encourage and maintain the happiness level of their staff and people.

Session 2: Communicating Remotely

When individuals and teams work remotely and online, another and different kinds of communication and differing channels are necessary. Effective online and virtual communication are new challenges. Leaders and Managers need to communicate differently when dealing with their teams and individuals remotely.

Session 3: Ensuring Productivity

Working remotely and virtually brings challenges to ensure efficient and sustainable performance and productivity by remote teams. Individuals work disconnected, isolated and physically alone. Leaders and Managers need to learn how to manage productivity through remote management. Managing to acquire results needs to be done with new remote techniques.

Methodology

The eWorkshop series consists of three (3) webinars with a series of interactive and practical exercises. The webinars will be held over a period a two weeks, with participants asked to do some preparation before and between the three sessions. Each session will be one hour and will include personal exercises and assignments, and there will be a space for dialogue and Q&A.

Target Audience

Managers and supervisors of teams of three or more people.
